Commemorative plaque for Centre de la Mémoire

This plaque is set in the grass on what is in effect the roof of the Centre de la Mémoire at Oradour-sur-Glane. The inscription states that the first stone of the new Centre was laid on the 5th of April 1997 by Jean-Claude Peyronnet in the presence of the other persons named below. The Centre eventually opened two years later in April 1999.
