Speech of the French Prime Minister Manuel Valls
The French Prime Minister Manuel Valls making his speech to remember the massacre at Oradour 70 years ago today and expressing the hope that such events will not happen again. The man standing to his right with the French Tricolour sash is Raymond Frugier the mayor of Oradour-sur-Glane in 2014. The gazebo, under which they are both standing was erected for the day and taken down within two hours of this picture being taken. By the next day, nothing remained of the preparations for the 10th of June, it had all gone.
