The main memorial at Marsoulas
This photograph shows the main memorial to the 27 dead of Marsoulas, with the church and its steeple in the background. As can be seen in the close-up view, the attack is recorded as having happened in the morning of 10th June 1944, about 6 hours before the attack on Oradour-sur-Glane itself. The victims of the massacre are buried in the church cemetery to the right of the building.
