Looking north from near the cemetery road

    This view dates from January - February 1953 and shows the view looking north up the Rue Emil Desourteaux through Oradour, from near the road to the cemetery (just visible on the right through the doorway). Notice the snow lying on the ruins, one of the reasons for the slow decay of the village as erosion takes its toll.
