Looking from the Milord barn (one of the men's execution sites) looking towards the Catholic Church from within the ruins of Oradour. Note that 54 years (photograph taken in June 1998) of rain, snow, wind and sunlight have mostly removed the smoke staining of the walls caused by the fires.
