The well that was found to contain bodies   

    The well that was found by rescue workers to contain several bodies. It is situated on the old road from Oradour to St. Junien and is near were visitors enter the ruins from the Centre de la Mémoire (opened in April 1999). The memorial sign reads, "Inhabitants were buried here. Collect your thoughts".
