The confessional box in the church at Oradour
Shown in this view is the wooden confessional box. On the morning of the 11th June two small boys were discovered in here, shot in the head. It is remarkable that the box itself escaped the fire almost undamaged, perhaps being protected by a strong blast of air coming through the window to the right through which the sun is shining. The entrance to the church is to the left of view.
