View of the crypt with the main Memorial behind

Crypt at Oradour

This view is looking north towards the main Memorial to the dead in the cemetery (the stele with the flags on top) and shows the rear of the crypt in which artefacts from the village are displayed. The crypt has always struck me as being a rather sinister place with the look of a nuclear bunker rather than a museum. See view from the north for looking towards the crypt entrance.
