Oradour street view looking north from bakery

Looking north up the Rue Emile Desourteaux, past the bakery (on the right) where two cremated bodies were discovered. Notice the tram line and the good condition of the overhead wiring after over 60 years exposure to the weather. The wooden picket fences are there to prevent pedestrian access to the far-from stable ruins and only the church is open to the public. See the village plan for location details.
