Frayssinet-le-Gélat main memorial to the dead

    This is the main memorial in Frayssinet-le-Gélat to the victims of the 21st May 1944 massacre. The inscription reads, "To the martyrs of Nazi barbarism" and then the imperative, "Remember!" The other memorial is just to the rear of this one. Oradour lay just 20 days ahead in time of Frayssinet-le-Gélat.
