The wooden door is the external entrance to the Chapel of Saint Anne. The archway to the right of the wooden door, leads to the garden where Madame Rouffanche hid after escaping from the church by the window over the altar. The window to the left of the chapel door is the one through which the shots were fired that struck the memorial tablet to the dead of World War I inside the church.
